Bissap Baobab Restaurant and Lounge

Baobab Village encompasses three locations on Mission Street and around the corner on 19th Street.  The Friends of Bissap Baobab Facebook Group represent the  community of friends and customers of Bissap Baobab restaurant, Little Baobab and the Cafe in San Franicisco’s Mission District, and all that Marco Senghor, his family and staff have contributed to celebrating the food, music, dance, language and culture of West Africa and the Diaspora.

LATE NIGHT LOUNGE OPENS Feb. 26-27 at BISSAP BAOBAB RESTAURANT

Bissap Baobab Senegalese Restaurant at 2323 Mission Street at 19th proudly inaugurates a new Late Night Lounge at its popular bistro every Friday and Saturday night from 10pm to 1:30am beginning the weekend of Feb. 26-27.

The lounge will provide a comfortable wind-down atmosphere featuring “Baobab Taf-Taf,” Senegalese small plates of hummus, avocat creole, yucca fries, beef and spinach pastelles. The bar will offer a variety of tropical rum drinks infused with coconut, pineapple, ginger and pear.

The new restaurant layout with booths and large tables, soft music in the background will encourage friendly conversation. Lots of interaction at the bar as well.

Everything at very affordable prices. Expect guest chefs and bartenders to drop by. We’ll give you advance word.
